487 low profile 99 mm diameter bases are used with 2-wire and 4-wire fire detection and alarm system devices. Models are available for both detectors and audio/visual alarm devices (in red). The range includes a continuity feature that maintains the alarm zone circuit wiring continuity when a device is removed from the base.

The low profile bases are suitable for installation on surfaces where the device connection cable can penetrate the mounting surface.
