The Model 408 series includes three detector types: smoke detectors, heat detectors, and combined smoke & heat detectors. All units are state-of-the-art devices supporting direct wiring to external equipment via a potential-free relay output.
The relay energizes upon receipt of an alarm signal from the detector to control connected peripheral devices. The integrated audible sounder activates automatically when an alarm is triggered. Wiring to fire control and indicating equipment (CIE) is not required.
