The range of 6002 and 6004 series CIE forms the central part of a fire detection and alarm system. The CIE is compatible with Numens addressable devices and supports up to 125 devices per loop. Non-addressable devices can also be connected to the CIE, when used with addressable input modules.
Both wired and wireless loops are supported. Up to 24 loops supported when interconnect with each other.
Completion of the conformance assessment will improve acceptance by customers and regulators of Numens fire detection and alarm system offerings in markets influenced by European (EN) Standards.

641 alarm devices are loop-powered. Activation is initiated either by a dedicated initiation message from the control and indicating equipment, or optionally when the control and indicating equipment enters the Alarm Condition. Up to 32 devices can be connected to each alarm zone loop.

Wi-Fi connection to a local access point is available for each gas type. An optional application can be installed to a smart phone to facilitate remote monitoring and control.
